Brain
According to the well-known division of Antonio Damasio, the brain can distinguish at least 3 different brains:
1. The reptilian brain with the cerebellum and the spinal cord that leads to the formation of the nervous system in the body, is identical to 200 million years ago and ensure the survival of the organism
2. the limbic brain overlaps the reptilian brain of lower mammals. Check the primary impulses such as feelings, emotions, metabolism, sexual instincts ... We are at the pituitary and the hypothalamus, hippocampus, amygdala.
3. the cerebral cortex, its only a few higher mammals (humans, monkeys and dolphins). Allows neural processes, advanced memory, creativity, logic, language, built ...

And according to the theories of lateralization, the cerebral cortex can in turn be divided into two parts, according to the two hemispheres:
- The left brain, characterized by attention to small details, logic, reasoning, language, number
- The right brain, characterized by attention to a holistic vision, colors, images, symbols, metaphors
The corpus callosum is a network of nerve fibers that connects the two hemispheres.
The cerebral cortex has 4 divisions for 4 parts called lobes:
1. temporal lobe
2. frontal lobe
3. occipital lobe
4. parietal lobe
The cells that carry the knowledge, habits, memory, beliefs and values are called neurons.
The neurons are formed from a nucleus, several dendrites and a long arm said axon. The 100 billion neurons in the brain are exchanged continuously, and so incessant information in the form of electrochemical impulses between them, through the synapses, hence the name synaptic pathways.
