Internal dialogue
The internal dialogue is nothing but the continuous dialogue that we entertain ourselves in our mind with thoughts, questions, hummed songs, shopping lists, poems recited in the mind, addressed to offend others that you would like but you can not say and offend against us.
The typical limiting internal dialogue, or depotenziante, useful or not is made up of phrases like:
