Motivated by the success and failure

In psychology there is a clear distinction between behavior and attitude of those who are motivated for success and who is "motivated to failure." Let's look at two categories:

1. The motivation to succeed are people who if they have to choose between tasks to be addressed, or challenges in life in general, choose tasks of intermediate difficulty for them, who meet between the degree of incentive to be undertaken and the likelihood of success. The tennis player who successfully motivated to play well enough, if he chooses to enroll in a local tournament with players able to challenge him as an average, not beginners or champions unattainable. The motivation to succeed are more likely to persist if they know that the task is within their reach, are the college student who proceeds even in the face situational difficulties, are not the worker strikes it has not received a promotion, but rather questions whether was attributable to him.

2. The people who are motivated to failure and that fear of failure or try to avoid suffering delusions, or avoid it but avoid challenges. So there are motivated to seek challenges too easy to fail, tend to be very motivated in life and avoid the effort and the disappointment of losing. Then we are motivated to failure but are afraid that they would like: choose challenges too difficult, because at least console themselves fail and have tried but were not the only ones to fail.

Here is an outline of causes for the two categories of people:

a. if successful the motivated to successfully imputes to itself and its capabilities

b. in case of failure to successfully motivated the charges the situation or little effort but never used himself as a person

c. if successful the motivated him to failure imposes on chance and luck

d. in the case of failure motivated him to failure imposes on himself and his poor skills.

So if we could trace the behavioral budgets, motivated for success, whether you succeed or to fail, the budget is always positive. In contrast, for the reasons for failure, the balance is always negative: if it's good luck and incapacity of the person if it goes wrong!

How do I know if I'm motivated to failure?
1. what kind of challenges you undertake? too easy or avoid? too difficult and so you console and you justified if you leave?
2. When you're successful you get the credit or think that it's all luck?
3. When you fail, you understand your responsibilities and to correct you? esmplicemente or think you are incompetent?

A failure can be motivated to learn to modify behavior and become a motivated person to fail?
Yes.
How?
First, and always with the knowledge to do so and that the pattern can be changed. By choosing one or two moderately difficult challenges and commit to carrying them out, recognizing that excellence is not to luck but to themselves and their abilities. In short, slowly starting to adopt the model of behavior motivated to succeed, since it is a behavior can be learned.
