Stress

defines stress in 1946, or stress syndrome, as a mode of adaptation that may lead the individual to react to the alarm, treating or flee. In English we say just fight or flight (or flight attacks).

Exposure to stress if prolonged can lead to physical exhaustion.

NLP can help to rephrase, revise, restructure situations that our mind considers stressful.

Selye developed the link - gland- responses governing body and their strength. Faced with a stressful event, the hypothalamus, which is connected to the brain and endocrine system, sends a message to the pituitary gland, an endocrine gland in the brain, to distribute hormones adrenocorticotropi, these carry the signal to the adrenal glands that produce other hormones, adrenocortical, which are distributed in the body.

A load "right" of hormone stimulation and therefore may be useful to address a situation that needs action, this type of stress is called a 'good': eustress (from the greek eu, good). Too much and too long, it is considered bad: distress (from the greek dys bad).

Stress results from both significant events - both positive and negative - but they absorb energy and weaken the immune system, both annoying and repeated small daily events (such as a phone number of a public service to which access is impossible, the neighbor home and continues to do that thing uneducated, the fellow who does not respect the quiet spaces, or in the office, etc ...) and then also lead to depletion of patience, energy and weaken the immune system.

Stress is therefore not at all well to maintain our health because it acts negatively on the immune system and primarily on the nervous and on the general body.

In the case of stress, both significant and small daily stressful events, NLP can give a hand to change the situation or to restructure the thought, to review or act, or do both.
